Delete your account & data
This page explains how to request permanent deletion of your Moonjii account and associated personal data. There are two ways to do it — both lead to the same outcome.
How to request deletion
Option 1 — In the app (fastest)
Open Moonjii and go to
Settings → Account → Delete Account. You'll be asked
to confirm. This is the quickest route and requires no
verification email, because you're already signed in.
Option 2 — By email
Send an email to privacy@moonjii.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request", sent from the email address registered to your account.
Sending from your registered address helps us verify the request is genuinely yours. If you no longer have access to that address, email us anyway and we'll verify another way.
Email your deletion requestEither way, we'll confirm receipt within a few business days. Your account and associated data will be deleted within 30 days of a verified request.

Data retention
Once a deletion request is verified, we permanently delete the data listed above from our active systems within 30 days. Some information may be retained for a limited additional period where required to comply with applicable law, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or enforce our agreements. Any data retained for these purposes is kept only as long as legally required and is not used for any other purpose.
Residual copies may also persist temporarily in encrypted backups until those backups are cycled out in the normal course of business, after which they are permanently overwritten.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once processed, you will no longer be able to access your account, profile, images, posts or messages associated with Moonjii.
